The Peace and Sport Council of Afghanistan once again had the honor of participating in the Global Organizations Forum, hosted and led by Peace and Sport organization in the Principality of Monaco. This annual forum, held in various countries, brings together prominent figures and reputable international organizations to promote peace through sports.
In this year’s gathering, Hassibullah Aghbar, the Project Manager of Peace and Sport Council of Afghanistan, represented the council and conveyed the message of Afghan athletes and people to global organizations. A greater honor this year was the invitation of three Afghan female champions, who represented the women and athletes of Afghanistan, delivering their messages and being the voice of Afghan women.
The three champions, Masouma Ali Zada, Marzia Hamidi, and Zakia Khudadad, received a warm welcome from all attendees and, with remarkable courage, shared the story of resilience and determination of the women of Afghanistan.
Peace and Sport, under the patronage of the Prince of Monaco and the leadership of Olympic champion Joël Bouzou, continues its mission to promote peace through sports with diverse programs across the globe.
