Peace & Sport Council of Afghanistan Forms New Collaboration with World Anti-Terrorism Organization

In a significant move to promote global peace and security, the Peace and Sport Council of Afghanistan (PSCA), led by President Ehssanullah Aghbar, has entered into a collaborative agreement with the World Anti-Terrorism Organization (WATO) based in India. The partnership aims to leverage sports, education, and community initiatives to combat terrorism and foster unity.

The agreement outlines joint efforts in developing programs that utilize sports and cultural exchange to promote peace, raising awareness about terrorism, and empowering communities, particularly the youth, to prevent extremist ideologies. Both organizations will share expertise and resources, conduct seminars and workshops, and collaborate on research projects to understand and address the root causes of terrorism.

A Joint Coordination Committee will oversee the implementation of these initiatives, ensuring effective communication and progress monitoring. The collaboration marks a three-year commitment with potential for renewal, reflecting the dedication of both PSCA and WATO to creating a harmonious global society.
