Peace & Sport Council of Afghanistan Awards Prof. Antonio Imeneo the 2025 Peace Prize
The Peace & Sport Council of Afghanistan (PSCA) proudly announces that Prof. Antonio Imeneo of Italy has been selected as the winner of the 2025 International Peace Prize for his outstanding contributions to global peace, cultural dialogue, and human rights.
Prof. Imeneo is the Founder and President of the international award “BOOKS for PEACE,” and serves as Director of the International Research Center FUNVIC (Europe), the International Foundation for Tolerance (Europe), and the Italy office of the Parlamento Mundial de Education (PAME). He also serves as the Honorary Representative of the Peace & Sport Council of Afghanistan in Italy.
Through BOOKS for PEACE and his global initiatives, Prof. Imeneo has promoted education, inclusion, anti-discrimination, and cultural understanding across nations. His work has helped highlight the power of culture, art, sport, and literature as tools for peacebuilding.
