Core Values

At the Peace and Sports Council (PSC), our work is guided by a set of core values that shape our actions and initiatives:

  1. Unity: We believe in the power of unity in diversity. We promote inclusivity and mutual respect among different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives, fostering a sense of belonging and community.
  2. Empowerment: We aim to empower individuals, particularly the youth, to realize their potential, to voice their concerns, and to become agents of positive change.
  3. Equality: We uphold the principle of equal opportunity for all, irrespective of gender, race, religion, or socioeconomic status. We strive to create an environment where everyone has equal access to resources, opportunities, and rights.
  4. Respect: We embrace cultural diversity and respect individual rights. Our actions and initiatives are designed to honour and respect cultural sensitivities while advocating for human rights.
  5. Education: We consider education a cornerstone for personal growth and societal development. We promote education and learning as tools to foster informed dialogue and understanding, paving the way for a peaceful and harmonious society.
  6. Collaboration: We value partnerships and collaborations, acknowledging that change can only be brought about when we work together. We aim to build strong, effective collaborations with communities, partners, and stakeholders.
  7. Integrity: We operate with transparency, accountability, and integrity. We strive to uphold the highest ethical standards in all our interactions and operations.
